Embodied Mentorship
A 6-month initiation into spiritually embodied practice for licensed clinicians done with the split.
You understand most human problems as having spiritual roots.
Your spiritual practice and understanding is what organizes the work you do clinically, but you haven't fully, or publicly, claimed that. Maybe not even to yourself.
Your clients may not know that what's running in the background of their session is spiritual. You don’t mention it on the consult call, and while your website likely has vague spiritual-leaning language, it’s mostly clinical in nature.
Behind the scenes, you have a unique way of understanding presenting problems that is whole, but you aren’t yet. You’re exhausted by this split, but stopping isn’t so easy.
You’ve worked hard for your credentials and they’re professional and social currency you don’t want to give up. They feel like a protective shield and without them you feel exposed.
What if the real protection is becoming the integrated practitioner you were born to be?
It’s possible. I live it everyday.
I’m Josie Rosario, a spiritually-integrated licensed therapist and founder of Venus+Legacy.
By the time someone books a consultation call with me, they know who I am and how I practice. Like me — like you — they are living between worlds, navigating the threshold between the human and the spiritual. They want a guide who knows that ground from the inside.
And because I don’t hide, they don’t have to either, creating a profound corrective emotional experience before our first session.
When your identity finally catches up to your spiritual calling, transparency stops feeling risky and simply becomes how you move in the world. The fear of "getting in trouble” dissolves because your authority comes from somewhere older and deeper than anything external or man-made.
Embodied Mentorship exists because you deserve sacred witnessing on the path of integration — the identity work, the death-and-rebirth process, the initiation — and a guide who knows the terrain well.
The Practitioner Embodiment Spectrum™ is a framework for spiritually-integrated licensed therapists to locate what organizes their clinical work. The spectrum maps where spirituality actually sits in the architecture of how you practice.
These are not progressive, hierarchical stages you move through. Each profile describes a different relationship between spirituality and clinical practice.

If you identify as an Alchemist, integration isn’t simply a matter of having the proper ethical and legal protections in place. These are important, but you can’t strategize your way into an identity you haven’t done the work to inhabit, similar to how clients can’t intellectualize their way to healing. Embodied practice requires that you shed an old, inherited identity and unfurl into your own, soul-contracted becoming.
The Journey
Embodied Mentorship is a 6-month identity-focused journey that dissolves the split between your clinical practice and your spiritual identity.
The program combines group sessions for shared learning and peer support with individual sessions for personalized guidance through your unique integration journey.
You'll alchemize your personal “witch wound,” decolonize your practice and mind, and build the inner fortitude and confidence to practice as your whole self.

Your Space Holder + Mentor
From the beginning of my clinical career almost a decade ago, I had an innate gift in the therapy room that didn’t match my training or tenure.
When my spiritual gifts deepened in those first few years, I understood that I’d facilitated this type of healing work for many lifetimes, and therapy was how I would do it in this one.
But I didn't know where to go with that knowing.
I couldn't see a way to practice with the spiritual integrity my lineage demanded of me. As a descendant of healers in the 21 Divisiones tradition, I knew there was more to transformation than what traditional therapy offered, but I didn't have a roadmap for integration.
So I left. I deactivated my license and stepped away from the field entirely, convinced I'd never return. What followed was the deepest initiation of my life, the type of identity work that prepared me for the next iteration of my calling.
When Spirit called me back, I understood why.
I wasn't just returning to do integrated work with clients. I was being called to bring back an ancient paradigm of healing alongside other practitioners, and supporting them on the path I’ve walked.
I may be a timeline or two beyond where you are right now but make no mistake, we are in this together.
The Cohort
The transformation happens in community, witnessed by peers who understand what it means to live split, know the weight of hiding, and are committed to emerging whole alongside you.
The inaugural cohort will be made up of licensed therapists who:
Orient their understanding of healing around a spiritual orientation
Have a personal, established spiritual practice or connection
See their role as a clinician as the vehicle for their calling, not the calling itself
Are resourced and ready for the sustained identity and transformation work this requires
Work in private practice or have the autonomy to evolve how they practice
Value clinical rigor AND spiritual authenticity
When spiritually-attuned practitioners gather with shared intention, a field effect occurs, and the container itself becomes medicine.
You're not just learning from me, you’re held by the collective wisdom and witnessed transformation of the entire cohort.
It’s Scary. I Get It.
Showing up openly and publicly as a spiritually-integrated therapist brings up real feelings.
You might be worried about licensing boards, what colleagues will think, or whether you'll still be seen as a legitimate therapist. These fears are valid, and we will move through every single one of them by dissolving its roots.
But there's something deeper happening too.
Many of us carry a "witch wound,” a real, ancestral and collective memory of what happened to healers who practiced outside accepted norms. That bone-deep fear of being persecuted for your gifts is more than mitigating professional risk. It’s ancestral and collective, anchored in real historical violence. It lives in the body, and until it's alchemized, it keeps you split.
Embodied Mentorship helps you move through the wound itself, so that you can step into the practitioner you were always meant to be, and contribute to the larger healing of colonial wounds within the field.
FAQs
-
Whereas most programs are skills-based, teaching you how to integrate spiritual tools into clinical practice, Embodied Mentorship focuses on change at the identity level. It’s for therapists who are already doing this integrative work - spirituality is the lens through which they understand healing - but need help becoming embodied in it.
-
No. Embodied Mentorship is not a certification program. The focus is on deep personal and professional identity development. That said, it’s not uncommon to develop or refine your own approach as you become clearer about who you are as an integrated practitioner. In fact, your unique approach often, and naturally, emerges from this level of clarity.
-
No. The therapists who are the best fit for Embodied Mentorship already have an established personal practice and connection with an ancient wisdom tool(s) of their choice or lineage. This allows the focus of the experience to be on identity development.
-
The mentorship will help build your internal foundation and develop a clear roadmap for integration, without forcing you into immediate action. Some participants need time to process and integrate what they've learned before making visible changes to their practice, while others implement as they go.
The mentorship helps you come home to yourself, but you decide when and how to let the public in.

Therapists who complete Embodied Mentorship are invited to join Sacred Practice as a way to stay in community and receive peer support. Folks who want strategic business/marketing support will also have the opportunity to schedule a Strategy Day.
