Josie Rosario, LMSW, MSEd, RYT

Founder | Therapist + Facilitator

I believe our relationships are the training ground where we become who we're meant to be, and that the knowledge to do them well shouldn't be locked away with the experts.

As a clinician, my work centers on amorous partners at thresholds — entrepreneurs, couples navigating IVF, and those who identify as ethically non-monogamous (ENM) — and on adult children and their parents, with a special love for helping mothers and daughters find their way back to each other.

Just as much, I love teaching and being in conversation about love and relationships on both sides of the veil. Regardless of the role I occupy at any given time, the thread is the same: making the wisdom of how we love common, spoken, and shared.

Outside of leading Venus+Legacy, I’m a writer, mentor for entrepreneurs, and a spiritual practitioner.

    It is not uncommon to see me cry, curse, laugh loudly, or quote lines from popular shows in sessions. I bring my full self to the work, and allow my humanity to meet yours.

  • I identify as a bilingual, bicultural Black Dominican-American cis/het womxn, proud daughter of immigrants and native New York (City)er. I grew up in a low-income, single-parent household, with a deep sense of culture, community, and service.

    My life has been shaped by the first gen experience, relational trauma and financial instability, as well as transformative educational and professional opportunities, international travel, and healing.

    My experiences, and that of the people who trust me with theirs, constantly leave me in awe of the vastness of the human experience and our deep capacity for change.

    I have a 12H stellium in Scorpio that includes Pluto. This means I’m naturally sensitive and intuitive, was literally born to do this type of deep, transformative work, and I’ve been a healer for many, many lifetimes.

  • I spent a decade in the education space - domestically and abroad - as classroom teacher and later as a school leader (my former kindergarten students are now in college!)

    I was also a business coach for therapists focused on marketing and strategy, and founded a successful coaching company before pivoting back to transformation work full time.
